Emergency Bike Repair Kits

A local scheme to help keep you on your bike (launches early March 2026)

Across Swindon there will soon be a network of Emergency Bike Repair Kits available to the general public. The locations of these are shown below as well as the times when the kits are accessible to the public at each site.

The kits will contain lots of useful items including tyre patch kits, tyre levers, and pumps. If you get a puncture in Swindon you now know where to go to have a speedy return back to the road!

Free bike maintenance classes

To help people build confidence in using the emergency first aid kits, we ran a series of free bike maintenance classes around Swindon throughout February 2026.

There were 90 minute “bitesize” classes that gave an overview of checking your bike and keeping it roadworthy and safe to ride, plus how to mend those pesky punctures.

There were also longer 3 hour courses that went beyond these basics to cover brakes, chains and gears.

Map of locations

The Emergency bike kits are available at the following locations. The kits will be available on the main reception desk.
