Swindon’s orienteering challenge gets a makeover

Have you ever noticed orienteering stickers on lamp columns around the Borough?

They were put up along the traffic free cycle paths by volunteers from the Swindon Bicycle User Group over a decade ago, and there is now a brand new revamp of the challenge to encourage people to go out and track them down.

You can pick up a booklet containing brand new maps (designed by Four Point Mapping) showing you where the orienteering points are.  It is divided into smaller geographical areas with six quests to complete. There’s no deadline to complete the challenge so you can explore anytime you like.

Simply follow the maps in each area to track down the orienteering points and record the corresponding letters on the grid in the booklet. The challenge is also available to play on the Huntly app.

Collect all 36 letters, send them in and get a mystery prize!
